Edmonton Oilers Jerseys – Exclusive Edmonton Oilers Hockey Jersey Sale
We have here a variety of
Edmonton Oilers jerseys.
The Oilers temporarily used
the Alberta Oilers as their
team name when they first
joined the World Hockey
Association in 1972. After one
year, they returned to their
orignal name, the Edmonton
Oilers. In 1979, the Oilers
became a professional ice
hockey team and member of the
Northwest Division in the
Western Conference of the
National Hockey League. The
team is based in Edmonton,
Alberta, Canada and playing
their home games in an indoor
arena named Rexall Place. The
team gained 1 division
championship title for the WHA
and 6 for the NHA. Currently,
they have seven conference
championship titles and the
latest was in 2005-2006. The
oilers now have five Stanley
cups which they have won over
the New York Islanders for one
season and two consecutive
seasons for both Philadelphia
Flyers and Boston
Bruins. The Oilers uniform
colors are midnight blue,
copper, red, white, royal blue
and orange. Recently, the team
announced that they will
change their home look for the
2009-2010 NHL season, playing
27 times in the
orange-and-blue third jersey
unveiled last season from
their glory days. The
copper-and-blue will now only
be worn 14 times at Rexall
Place, thus becoming the
teams' new third jersey.
